I've lurked this forum for quite awhile but I've never made an account. Thanks for all the wonderful info that's on here. I still consider myself relatively new to sarging and pick-ups and this forum has helped me quite a lot.
Anyways, got a story and I would like an assessment of something (sorry if I posted this in the wrong section/forum),
I was sarging an HB8 waitress at a restaurant, she appeared to be giving IOIs but I wasn't entirely sure of them as she may have just been looking to get a bigger tip. I did a bit of friendly flirting with her and was toying with running some game on her near the end of it.
So I go up to pay and I figured it would be a prime-time to neg and her gauge her reaction, I said to her "You're fingers are really cute, do you always paint your nails that badly?" and she had an absolute change in personality and closed up entirely and so I didn't want to end our meeting on a sour-note so I gave her a casual "Thank you" and proceeded to leave. I'm not sure if she was interested in me or just absolutely lost her cool over the neg (may not have been the best neg in the world), my female companion for the dinning experience found it rather funny that she got so anger over something like that.
So I turn to you now PUA forum and tell me what exactly went right/wrong with that neg, any and all info is greatly appreciated and if need be I would be more than happy to provide greater detail.

me personally, I wouldn't use the word 'badly' in negging a girl, also if your female friend was with you when you said it, the dynamics of it changes as it looks like you 2 ganged up on her..

maybe you could of said (without your female friend near you) , wow you have really cute hands, but were you in a rush this morning painting those nails of yours?

anyways, im too no expert, its just I wouldn't use the word 'badly' unless you make it obvious that your just fkn around and not serious

The female friend really didn't interact with her at all, she just accepted the fact that we were flirting and really didn't give two-shits.
I tried to use a sarcastic tone to sort of soften the blow but I guess the word choice on my part wasn't exactly the smartest.
