So I was at the mall with a fellow aspiring PUA like myself and we were walking around to sarge, and I saw this girl sitting near the fountain alone watching something on her iphone. I didn't approach her at first, but when I made a circle and came back to the fountain I still saw her there so I thought I might approach her.

So, I sat beside her and it went something like this:

Me: "Hi there!"
Girl: *takes off her headphones and looks at me*
Me: "I just wanna talk to you for a sec cause I'm really bored over here. Are you alone?"
Girl: "No, I'm waiting for my friend"
Me: "Oh, me too! I noticed you have been sitting here alone for quite some time so I thought you might want some company"
Girl: "I am actually watching this drama on my phone" (she's trying to shoo me away)
Me: "What kind of drama?"
Girl: "Korean drama"
Me: "So you are one of those girls who are into Korean stuff"
Girl: "No, I just like to watch this particular one"

I forgot what I said after this but she replied with, "Can I get back to my show?" At which point I figured I didn't have a chance so I said no problem and walked off.

What could I have done to salvage the situation?

Only thing you'd said wrong was about noticing her sitting for some time.

This' basically saying you're talker(lol).

So you should've made it looked random.

Anyway,you should not have allowed her to get back to her iphone- drama!!

You cannot be giving up so easily-or no reason.

Guy who get laid are persitent types.

Som gurus advocate never leave or give up on a set until you either get success or the chicc basically yells at you to leave.

This girl was giving token resistance.

She was baiting you into flirting with her.

She might've genuinely wanted to get back to her iphone,but if you did somthing or said something along the lines of,"Hey,dont diss me like that over an iphone[in a playful way]".

Or simply take her phone away.

I do that all the time in sets.

I would playfully take away the girls ipod,study books,whatever she's wanting to get back to.

Then if it's done correctly,she'd be playfully trying to get it back,which would lead to both of yall playfully wrestling for the thing which would lead to KINO(you tickling her)and flirting and having laughter.

You totally frigged up that one.

I pray for an opportunity like that;when a girl would try dismiss me for an object.

Thanks for reminding me that persistence is key, k-loc! Now I feel like a pussy for running away so quickly.

There's a thin line between persistence and not getting the hint.

She wern't giving you any(genuine)hint to give up.

I can recall few times after laying certain girls,they would say to me,"how did this happen?We werent supposed to have sex".

He's bsically saying that my persistence was so head on that it dominated her frame,although she genuinely wanted me to leave her alone when we 1st met.

So you have to push it until you C&B(crash a burn)and get rejected or until the girl gets up and walk away.

If the girl doesnt leave(walk away),it's ON!!

The mere fact that she's still there should tell you that she's open.

I persist until they walk away(lol)!

Even as she attempts to walk away,I would grab her hand(playfully)to stop her.

If she stops,I know it's game on still and she's just testing me.

If she says,"what the fuck are you doing[and keep walking]"!?

Then I give up.

Many natural guys who know nothing of the community get lays from sheer persistence.

I would highly recommend grabbing a girl ipod, or books if you don't know what your doing.
Proceed with caution on this one. but definitely be more persistent.

Tactics like taking a girl's hand,her ipod,whatever should not be done by fidgety-type guys.

Plus you have to read the girl's tolerance level.

I cant explain it but I can just sense when a girl's a ticking-time bomb and when she's tolerant.
