So I was waiting to meet some friends outside a busy underground station the other evening, it was dark, and there were plenty of hot ladies walking past.

Every now and then I'd get some good solid eye contact with a girl entering or leaving the station, but I was stuck for an opener! Wasted opportunity...

Anyone got any ideas that can be used in this situaiton? - natural stuff if possible...

Also anything that would be good used with girls who are also waiting?

Just smile and ask where they are headed and/or compliment them on something they are wearing, the way they look, etc.. Be casual and ask general questions and try to strike common ground.

For example, when I was in AZ, this smoke show brunette and I were waiting for the shuttle from the hotel to the airport and I complimented her on her shoes. We then talked all the way to the airport and I learned all kinds of info about her ranging from where she is from to her favorite clothing company. In the end, I got her number. She was 29 and I was 20 at the time.
