Has anyone seen the movie 'I love you, man' ? I really like to use the line Jason Seghel says a few times.

me: Hi, I'm Barney
her: Hey, *name*
me: oh, that was/ is my mother's name..

For the jerks among us, you can pretend she has the same name as your deceased mother, which is hilarious by the way. Done it a few times. Personally I like to say it playfully and make them wonder if I'm lying or not.
