This is a very good friend of mine, Kenny, he owns ABC Construction.
This is my good friend, Bob. He recently (did whatever cool).
If you’re asking how to open WITH your wing;
“Hey, my friend and I have a bet/disagreement; can you settle it for us?” Make up whatever you want in advance as far as what the bet is.
I personally like “We have to hide”… Just walk up to a set and, laughing together as if you can’t control it, sit right down. Tell the set (in a real hush hush secret kind of way, you just did something really stupid (not something horrible, but funny) at the bar and need to hide from the bouncer for a few minutes. They will be so curious as to what you did and you already have a since of some sort of connection because you chose them to hide with. They will instantly start a conversation with you. Introduce your wing with the “Accomplishment Introduction” but make it something like “This is Mike, the one who (did whatever at the bar).
