Today at a luncheon I met this girl trying to look for food to feed her little sister (about 4 years old). I walk up to her and say her sister is cute, then proceed to ask her how old she is. She responded "4 years old" and then after told her sister to say thank you to me even when she was too shy. I didn't know where to go after and feeling like an AFC we both walked away. What should I have done?

first, it's good that you approached her. second, I think you could've talked about little sisters/ brothers or use some DHV story that contains a little brother/sister in it.

Today I approached another girl my age that was baby sitting her sister. I went up and said Hi and we talked about her little sister for like 2 minutes. After that I asked her for her name and found out I met her somewhere else. Then the conversation went dry and I said I had to get back to my family, said bye and left (Didn't have a cell phone on me to get her number) I wouldn't even know if I should have gotten her number

Asking AFC questions is also ok. As long as you can improvise from the value she gave you in attraction phase.

So.. do attraction and try to qualify. if she qualifies then attraction is ON and you can do comfort talk.

how to do attraction? you can use projection, teasing, etc..

I'd probably do self-amusement projection in style of "Oh yeah.. I know how it's like. I've also had such sister. But then.. she kept stealing my toys.. so I told her we should resolve this issue once and for all as grown ups.... to make long story short.. we did thumb wrestling and I won!!!"

i approached HB8 tonight at a bar. I saw her and made brief eye contact while she was getting hit on by some AMOG.

After like 30 minutes, I saw that she was sitting by herself. I thought that maybe she worked there. Here's the dialog:

ME: "Hey what up.. do you work here because u look really familiar:
HER: "no i don't work here."
ME: "does your friend that you came in with work here? I swear I've seen you here before"
HER: "No she doesn't. You've probably seen me because I'm always here."
ME: "I'm here a few nights a week too. I love this place! Do you recognize my face at all?"
HER: "no"
ME: "maybe I wasn't dressed as I nice as I am tonight. You might have seen me with my hair down and got scared. My Names XXXX whats yours?"
HER: "hi i'm XXXXX"
ME: Shakes hand. "right on, well maybe I'll see you a bit later." *kino on arm*
HER: "ok see ya"

my plan was to just resume the conversation later by DHV that I'm not just another idiot hitting on her. But I failed to make a good convo.

30 minutes later I walked by, she saw me and pretty much hid. LOL FAIL

The big mistake in your dialog is that you tried to make a nice guy conversation which gave her no emotional value.

I didn't see any teasing or self amusement. You did not touch her attraction switches.. so, that's why she did not IOI you or you did not have any kind of hook.
