"Hey I saw you from around the way" or "Im in a meeting people mood"

or any opener that someone uses that is followed by their name.

For example

"hey I saw you from where i was and had to come over and embarrass myself(smile) my name is mani."

She will most always say

"nice to meet you" or "Hi my name is ___"

what i naturally just go off of to create a conversation is instantly say is a variation of her name

so lets say she says her name is "anna"

Ill say "Hannah"? "Janna" she'll laugh and be like noooo anna.


then ill say

really now! (very energetically) well when you were younger did your parents ever tell you whey they named you anna(or whatever the girls name is) or did they just say anna once you popped out


so it can go two ways

a. either she never asked and doesn't know
b. she'll tell you the origin

if she doesn't know ill tell her the origin of my name which is Immanuel tell a funny story of how i had my name

and from there you can ask another

small hoop qualifying question.

and if she doesn't know or doesn't qualify you can say

wow you dont know anything where your name came from or how to cook?? this isn't going to work. now i know next time i see you you;ll forget my name even after this story i just gave you

and then qualify more, quick comfort to get some commonalities and a reason to meet again and number close easy

haha good strategy. I might try that next time I go out

you could also said at the first sentence, "Hi, I just wanted to give you the satisfaction of turning me down; go ahead say no."
