To be honest, it doesn't matter what you open with. All an opener does is get you into set, nothing more. Just be sure to have things to follow up with after opening. You can stay on the opening topic for a minute or so but not much longer as you need move on.

Like I said just make sure you have something to follow up with after opening.

Opener can be used to create social comfort, attraction or just to open.

Sinn has a great explaination in his day game course. If you ask a girl what's the time then she's most likely to respond but you get no real reward for this. It creates minimal social comfort and nothing more.
