Hello!

Last night I was at a nightclub having a break sitting in a bit darker corner of the club. While texting my friend a set of girls appeared and seated next to me. I don't know if that was a honest mistake or what, but the girl who sat right next to me "accidentally" managed to tip over the water bottle on the table and some of it splashed on my jeans and phone. Luckily the bottle was almost empty so I said something like: "well, thanks".
She responsed "I'm sorry."
I didn't say anything immidiately, so she repeated like "I'm really sorry, u know"
I kind of freakd out and couldn't come up with anything to say so I said "Gotta get some paper." got up and bailed.
A second later I was already regretting that i had left. Then it felt awkward to go back there.

I'm still a beginner on PU and on that situation I just couldn't come up with anything reasonable to say.

Afterwards only lines I could figure was:
After she assumably apologizes
"So, what else u do besides spilling water on random guys?"
"I see that u have already melted the ice. Hi my name is blah"

What would u do/say in a situation like that?
And have u find any unexpected happenings to be a great convo starter?

I guess it just takes a little more practice and experience to be able to handle situations like this in a fraction of a second.

That line would have been a great start actually, but then you shouldn't regret. Such moments only get you closer to your target WHICH is to gain the ability to think of such lines on the spot and spill them out. All of this comes with confidence, which comes with practice. I'll just say don't stop trying
