I always shop at the local Trader Joes and there is at least one decent to hot looking girl walking around. I've thought of some game for when I want to talk to a girl at the register, but can't think of anything good for walking around that's relevant to being at a foodstore and doesn't seem to weird and random.

Basically, what alot of guys don't realize is situational openers can be terrible if not used correctly. Then again most openers work, but you have to do it smoothly.

Your best bet is to go direct. This will stop you from avoiding approaches because you don't have something thought out to say for EVERY specific occasion.

The other thing I would recommend if you don't want direct, is starting small talk. Just make a comment about something. Make sure she knows you're talking to her, and make the comment close by to her. Make sure the comment is something witty and not boring. This is where if you're quick thinker, you wouldn't have a problem.

I would rather say that any canned opener can work there as well if its witty.. whats most important is the delivery..
