I've been experimenting with this a long time and it's one of the basics of pickup.

I call it "Unsexing"- It's where you refer to girls as guys when talking to them. It's particularly powerful for beautiful girls. For our younger PUAs it's a form of disqualification. They always take offence and say

"Hey I'm not a guy!"

Examples:

Met an Hb7 in college. Conversation got going and she did something stupid goooold for me .
Fox: Duuuuude!
HB7: Hey I'm not a dude! Maybe dudette but not dude!
Fox: Duuuude...
HB7: *Pout*

This one was a quick text:
Fox: Happy Birthday SPAM! (she loves cats for some reason)
HB8: :O Catlady!!!

It's a nice powerful subtlety! Keep using it guys.

It's a disqualification. I went back to where I got the idea and it was from David DeAngelo. He'd say that when a girl does something stupid you say things like,"Duuuuudeee!" It was more a cocky funny technique but I like how it acts like a false disqualifier at the same time.

It's sort of like going up to a girl you know you've created attraction with and calling her 'buddy.' It's role reversal because you just put her in 'friends zone'.
