I wear Docs. It's all I will wear - comfortable. Women don't care too much about shoes - I was at a party with about 9 women all decent to uber hot so I asked once - none of them cared about a guys shoes.

I don't think that's true at all. I've heard countless times from females that shoes are very important. There are always exceptions, but shoes definitely have an impact.

I have about 10 pairs of shoes, from 300$ allen edmonds and 200$ frye boots to 50$ nikes and 20$ flip flops. I have a pair for every outfit/occassion. Girls are really interested in my shoes; it's definitely a selling point with a lot of women. I wear a different pair for the first 5 dates or so, it's great conversational piece as well.

A trashy looking shoe can completely destroy your outfit. I'm young and often wear dress shoes with jeans. It's a pretty cool/classy look that definitely makes you look more mature. I don't see a reason why you wouldn't want to look more mature-- women like that.

Hmm - I know what you mean. I do have a shoe fetish. I own many pairs of Docs and work boots. The most I ever spent on shoes was about 480 on a pair of Tony Lama boots. I own docs, work boots and a pair of sandals.

I just don't worry as much about shoes is all.

Shoes do matter from a couple of different perspectives.

Are they appropiate for your outfit (Nepolean Dynamite's snow boots with shorts do not work)

Are they clean and maintained (Polished and unscuffed)

Beyond that, wear what is comfortable. Just make sure it works with the outfit.

Shoes matter. Find a woman to help you pick them out. Just like clothes, "the right pair of shoes" changes depending on what you look like and what you're wearing.

I own 7 pairs of shoes, but with jeans I generally wear either my Chucks or some dress shoes.

shoes are very important!
As for me, I don't care what brand anything is as long as I like the style of it. So the other day while at target I found some white pair of shoes for 20$ and have had like 10 compliments a day on them from girls and guys. HBs like it, makes a little more AMOG if you have something your guys like. So what im trying to say is, while i own expensive shoes 300+ and 450$+ shirts, I get the most compliments on the shirt i got for 3 dollars at a thrift store and the shoes I got from target. Just find what looks good on you and roll with it. If you get a compliment from a girl, or a guy, try to figure out why it looks good on you so you can shop for similiar items. And if nothing is workin for you, mix it up. Hell, mix it up even if it is working for you. Good luck and befriend your local thrift store!

Mix and match. I wear Converse All-Stars since they go with just about everything, work boots, cowboy boots, dress shoes at times, flip flops, moccasins, Jordans, Adidas, and a pair of Etnies I've had for forever.
