im trying to think of how to game at a starbucks or grocery store anybody have any proven tactics ?

At a starbucks you could comment on the drink she's getting , most likely criticizing it and then telling her something better or "spill" a little on yourself and ask her for a napkin to clean yourself. If she shoots you down just say "look lady, i'm not hitting on you I just need a napkin because I poured half my drink down my crotch", that can even turn it around

I've never tried these but they could work eh ?

I've found grocery stores intensely hard to game in. It seems like such a mundane place to be that I can never get into the mood.

However, starbucks and other coffee shops are great places to meet women. If you catch an eye in the lineup, be simple, say 'Hi' and mention something about the surroundings. Smile, make eye contact, and if she ends up getting a table, simply go straight to her and continue talking as if you were supposed to meet her there. Sit without asking, and if she's a little cold, 'Im waiting for someone' or 'I have a bit of work to do', put her off and say you won't be long or something, that you have somewhere to be at soon. Make her laugh, get her number and leave. This shouldn't take anymore than 10 minutes.

One thing to avoid is to directly talking to women sitting on tables. Most women are more hesitant in this situation, because she was doing something and you took the extra effort to go up to her and talk (which gives her a first hand introduction to the 21st century PUA that she's heard all about). This works in bars, but in coffee shops, women prefer to be quiet and have more defenses.
