| Offline | | New to MPUA Forum | Joined: Wed Jun 02, 2010 6:01 am Posts: 5 | | i'm going through hypnotica's collection of confidence program. i'm at the stage where i'm training myself to walk up to girls, without the pressure of pulling or even starting a conversation. basically, something like "hey, are you karen?" and when she probably will say no say "nevermind i thought you were someone from middle school" or something like that... mind you, this is not intended to be an indirect opener - just something that will train me to to the approach, wherein the next steps involve walking up to say "hi" and start conversations/interactions. any ideas for something that works for this purpose and would sound authentic enough for me not to worry about it?

1. The mother bird method were they kick their kid out the nest to make it fly
( essentially you just force yourself to open with a genuine opener)
2. Baby steps way
were you build up your confidence gradually to approach steadily
( this part may sound stupid but it works as it gives you the opportunity to approach non threatening )
Grab a load of flyers from a shop or a bank and just stand their in one spot on the street handing as many out to people as possible ( the idea is to get yourself comfortable with the idea of interacting with new people )
- then move onto asking girls / guys the time
- then try to spark as many oppertunistic openers in shops with the employees ( their payed to be nice)
- then go onto aproaching with whatever opener you have planned, FTC and then leave keep practicing each step until comfortable.
