Opener: Hey You girls look pretty social and I need to ask you girls a question really quick then im out. So My friends girls and boys say im the most bipolar texter in the world. They say either you text right back or 2 hrs sometimes the next day. Isn’t it possible im just busy? Have you ever had an ex boyfriend or someone that commented on your texting. And say why didn’t you respond.

you could lead this into like people sending multiple texts and how that comes off as needy and things like that. and then I use this with another question about how long should a guy wait till he calls/text you and not come off as needy or desperate or creepy

Unsex them dude. Use guys instead of girls. Openers can be anything, it's how you say it that matters. And how you follow through.

andyeah this is true. openers are the one thing i struggle with once i successfully open i do pretty well

By unsex I mean simply refer to them as guys instead of girls. So it'd go something like this:

Hey you guys look pretty social. Let me ask you a question really quick then I gotta get back to my friends. A lot of my friends say I'm the most bipolar texter in the the world! They say you either text right back, sometimes 2hrs later and even the next day. It's possible I'm just busy right?

HBs: Yeah. I guess.

HBs: Blah blah

I guess you didn't respond to them because __________________.

Guess some random stuff and play with them. Say maybe they were partying too hard etc. Pretty much whatever you wanna say.

why bother saying in the opener you have to leave after asking? You're using this to open, you have no intention of leaving, and odds are one of the girls will ask why you're still there. Hate to go after details, but it just makes the opener feel so...long. Just ask if they can help you and your buddies settle a debate. Or just say "hey help us out real quick." That's not even for this opener, I'm more just commenting on any situation where you use a question opener like that.

yeah I believe you can use this opener on a group no matter the setting or time on a group.

Like even say something like "Hey Ive been looking for a group of girls to ask this all day and have you girls ever not responded to a text and have your friends ask why it took you so long"

I think you can customize this opener alot its pretty flexible once you got the concept

Very true in fact that's how I usually do openers. I thought this wasn't just an opener so that's why it was long .
And they only ask "Why are you still here?" if you don't catch their interest. Usually I'll tie the opener to an IVD so they want me there when we're done

It's an Interactive Value Demonstrator. Pretty much something that the entire group or most of them can participate in and that's not normal. The result is they have fun and you have fun and they don't want you to leave
Something like style's lying game or his name mnemonic etc. It can be whatever you want once you get everyone doing something and having fun.
