Hey Guys...first post here, today was my first time doing this stuff in years so I had this simple opener I wanted to try out and get my feet wet.

"Excuse me... let me ask you a quick question, I wanted to get a female perspective on something... have you ever experienced an instantaneous connection with someone that you just met?"

The first girl was a pretty hot italian/indian at borders sitting with her back to a wall reading a book. I came up to her and said the opener and she bit down on it hook, line, and sinker. She said yes and started talking about connections. She was also quite friendly and I started describing connection stuff like feeling a "string of light coming from you to them" or about a "golden bubble surrounding the both of you."

We then talked about music and we also talked about the movie "the young victoria" which I loved. And described this one scene that was very passionate where the queen's husband almost died etc., and said that is how you experience true passion---when your partner has come close to death. I was basically getting in some good romantic descriptions here and there.

It was funny though because I was close to making a bet with her with the 5 questions game (youtube Strauss's demonstration) that she would buy me a cup of coffee in a few days if she lost. (She also looked at me strangely as if "why three days?" was on her mind...I forgot that there is a cafe in borders)

Then she came out with the boyfriend bomb and she turned into a completely different person! It got really weird after that and she actually sat up and started walking away! lol So...I just played the game with her while walking...and won of course, and then we just parted at the escalators in a strange way.

I approached a few other cute girls outside borders sitting on a bench...in my mind I was thinking of fishing just waiting for them to walk by! lol

All of them gave me some creepy/weird vibes and I found it very odd. I was feeling kind of down after that so I decided to do one more opener but I decided to stand up after I started the opener thinking that is why perhaps I got bad reactions. This last girl, I stood up right when I began to ask the question, "Have you ever experienced an instantaneous connection with someone?" and I left out the "you just met" and it seemed to work very well as she slowly gave me a nice smile. I started talking about how you can "feel a connection in that bundle of nerves called the solar plexus and just let that feeling spread out through your body." (something like that)

But after a few moments, I didn't keep up on small talk so she said "I wish I could of helped you more" because she couldn't think of an instantaneous connection experience which I had to describe for her. And then she went to a clothing store behind us.

So it was an interesting day...you guys have any ideas? Thanks.
