Heh so I'm guessing that most of you got the e-mail/vid from Lyons. Its pretty legit. As a male bartender working with three other hot ass fem bartenders you see everything that works and fails...horribly. Most guy's honestly swing and miss. Lets be honest the same 5 tips that Lyons verbalized in his vid apply to both male and female bartenders (not that you should be hitting on a male bartender lol).

One important thing I noticed he forgot to mention and probably the most important is...if your trying to mac, or kick game with a bartender don't get shit housed. Nothing is a bigger turn off then a sloppy drunk. Honestly we respect a person more if they show some measure of control. The girls have to deal with drunk assholes allll night and it gets old. Quick. If your trying to pick up some fair dame behind the bar show some respect for her job by keeping your buzz in check. Hell I know that sometimes it really helps to have a drink or two in ya before you open up and throw your neck out in an attempt to close a girl, but no one likes someone who's drooling and can't actually pronounce "Hi, I noticed you, your really cute."

For those of you that are constantly dreaming of closing with that fine assed bartender stop staring watch that vid and figure out how to be "the only normal guy in the bar" and get some.

Do you have the link to the that??? I had a girl bartender give IOI right off the bat but I didn't close or escalate at all.

I like that! I'm a big believer in that strategy, and here's why:

Although I've never picked up up a bartender, I DO normally get great service from femele bartenders when I go out. They're quick with my drinks, and make me larger or stronger drinks than they do for others. It's not that I'm a great tipper, I only tip a buck per drink, but I AM friendly, patient, and respectful, and it seems like after being hit on by drunken idiots all night, they really respond to that.

So once a bartender sees me a few times, I can count on great service whenever I go back to her bar. And this is actually more important to me than picking them up. The places I normally go to are crowded as hell this time of year, so quick bar service is a big plus. Also, I'm sure being friendly with the hot bartender can't help but give me a bit of social proof.

diablo you also have to remember that bartenders purposely send a million IOI's specifically to draw you in. Its part of the job. So the hard part is to find out what are the fake IOI's and what is her actually being legitimately interested in you. Which will almost never happen the first night they see you.

And Bo your right most the time its almost better to have good service then to actually pick the bartender up
