ick, when I see pickup transcripts with opinion openers it just makes me feel awkward. A person who can make an opinion opener seem sincere is very skilled. More than 90% of people who use them suck at them. It makes it less artful and so clumsy. Just dont like how everyone uses them.

What a title!

Opinion openers are great in the right situation - e.g. in a mall searching for clothes! "Do you think this <...> fits to my trousers (or similar)?... Why don't you prefer the <...> stuff like most women do?"

The first opener you've listed might come in handy for me, I fall in to that situation a lot where a girl constantly checks me out, and I just end up not knowing which opener to use, but the first opener kind of busts on them straight away, and if you add a little smirk to it when you say are you stalker? It'll most certainly get a luagh out of it

Well, I think it's natural that opinion openers became mainstreem. THEY WORK!!! But I agree that if you can get by with out them then your much more skilled and will run less risk of happening upon a girl who's heard your opener

I might turn it into a joke at the end though.
maybe something like: "well that's ok, I forgive you. You're kinda cute. I don't mind having a cute stalker. It's the ugly ones that are really stalkers, cute ones we just call admirerers."
I might go into a story about my friend who called me the other day and told me that he just realized that ugly people have shorter lifespans than pretty people do. He said he got that idea while he was driving in front of the mall and he was checking out this really got girl. She turned around and screamed at him. Apparently he was just about to run over some ugly chick!

I agree with this, i think if you spend too much time on a particular opener then its going to be harder for others to understand.

I try and stick to the basics and then when i've hit my target goal then i attempt some complicated openers and stories.

when a girl is checking u out, then u dont need to have an opener... ure allready in a non-speaking conversation.. u only have to approach, and u can start with the box routine as example...

getting tho that box routine is easy. just improvice.

Opinion openers are overused. Keep away from them - the bar has been raised in C+F, so get to work.

I don't really like the first opener. The stalker part actually seems like the best part about it, but only if you make a good joke of it.

Generally, though, if you already got eye contact and a smile from her, why not open direct? Don't go into an opinion opener though...

using the pre opener if she stares at you i think is gold.
you then have already broken the barrier with sonmething which is generic and streight (not much room to varey responses), and you have the oppotunity of calabrate whether her responses are strong enough to use an opinion opener on her which will improve your chances on her hooking.

im going to try this aswell.....its all about testing....

the stalker opener had VERY limited uses. Only use it if she's checking you out or if she bumps into you.


Opinion openers are good on 2-sets or 3-sets, because then you can chuck out some negs and do the best friends test. They're less good with lone girls, who usually have lower energy and think you're trying to sell them something.

For lone girls, do a SUBTLE situational opener, such as "what are you drinking" and escalate from there.
