A girl I have met recently at a party is good friends with my own and there appears to be an opportunity coming up where we will meet again.

We briefly flirted and made fun of each other that night - I met her a few weeks ago but while talking online this week, I mentioned to her that the party had been our first time talking properly - she then pointed out that we had only slagged each other that night (about each others hair apparently-mine being a lack of) rather than actually having a conversation!!

So how does my opener sound for when I see her again

I'm not half bad when it comes to chatting girls up but must say since I read a book last year whilst travelling (The Game) its opened up a completely different and FUN approach I've been taken.

I'm pretty new to putting this into practice in terms of the "rules" you guys live by so can someone please explain the main points of this next level you speak of - comfort??

I am new to the game and so am just reading through the openers and approaches. I realize the openers may be easy for me so I'll continue to read some more and then create my line.

What I see in your reply to DerekOnside is that I need to work on the material that will get me to a close: number, date, etc. Please point us in the right direction for resources.

In the "Mystery Method" building comfort is actual a set "phase." But I was speaking in a more general sense. Basically, building comfort involves everything you do to remove a girls inhibitions around you. At the beginning of an interaction, this involves false time constraints, indirect openers, etc. Later, it could involve inviting her over but telling her to "dress casual" to take pressure off.

For resources, check out the "mid game" and "closing/day 2" sections here and read lots of field reports. Fastseduction.com also has a forum with some great info, although it is not very well organized and be difficult to navigate. They also host archives of old ASF posts (http://www.fastseduction.com/archives/) and if you don't mind doing a little digging there is some absolute gold to be found there. Also, surprisingly, google can actually bring up some good resources sometimes (if you're willing to sift through the crap.)
