Is there any way to be alpha while texting? Maybe don't text back right away?

I agree some people overdo that shit and its ignoring who is going to take u serious if after every text its like lol lmao haha... GTFO with that shit.. I never text anybody back right away just so I can think out exactly what I am goin to say, but it really doesn't show any type of alpha male... u really can't alpha when it comes to texting

Reply delay - take you sweet ass time, at least an hour before every reply on somthing that isnt on the clock (if your meeting someone in 15 minutes you probably dont want to wait an hour)
Leave conversations hanging - Generally text coversations dont end with a formal goodbye. try to judge when a texting convo is dieing and cut it off even earlier. Girl go wild.

I can't agree with that. I always do it and it has never failed me though I don't tend to over do it. I think it shows that you have a sense of humour and without body language you smilies reinforce what you said so they now have a mental picture of your body language. Sometimes if a girl says somethink like "I miss u" I just text.

Alright, to the guy that says wait an hour or so before replying, barring that you're on a set schedule with said person... Where the world do you get that from? I came into this game as more or less, a half-assed natural, I felt I needed that extra something and the pick-up game has given me that and I appreciate it. But, I dont know why you would say wait an hour before replying, or waiting and thinking out exactly what you're gonna say. I look at it as, act like you're there with that person, and say what comes up. It's like, when you're in person, if someone says something to you.. you dont sit there silent for 7-8 mins thinking of what to say, it'd be weird...Right? So I wouldn't wait forever thinking of that magic word to make her wet her little girl panties.... Just act like you're there with her. Say what you think. Dont be afraid to be you.. but also like the other guy said, lay off of the "haha" and "lol" and the smilies.. kinda homo-mo-sexual.

I can see where everyone is coming from with waiting before you reply thing, it shows that you're busy doing something or with some friends, If you reply straight away it can look like you have nothing better to do or you're really into her! So the conclusion being - take your time, but dont take forever!

& with regards to using "lol" "lmao" and shit like that; it completely depends how you're portraying yourself.

but you'd be surprised how much shit you'll get in when trying to make a joke without adding the occasional smiley face or "lol" - mainly due to the fact that you can't display tone of voice in a text message
