find the girl you want, in her group and say to the group: ''hey sorry to interupt you guys but my mates and i are having a stupid arguement about whether or not ghosts are real, what do you guys think''

then you have two options either playfully disagree with whatever your target says... ie ''you believe in ghosts?! are you mad haha, ill let you off this time but you have to make it up to me for losing the arguement.

or agree and develop rapport ... ie ''i know of course they dont exist lol, thankyou, you deserve a drink for helping me out''

ask the group if you can borrow her for a second and by then they will say yes and she will have to come with you, then you are alone with her, just think kino, ioi and push/pull and you will full close by the end of the night.

It's an ok opener in my opinion but it could backfire as it sounds a little geeky. Sure, most girls are into tarot card reading and the supernatural. Best to elaborate on a story linked to girls interests.
For example;

"Me and my mate were discussing that movie Ghost with Patrick Swayze and he says that when you die like in the movie you can still walk around but I say when you die you die so what do you guys think?"

And I wouldn't buy her a drink for helping you out though get her to buy you one instead!

Not to rain on the parade but both of those are weak... you should always go for something more simple for your opener... its funny, because this forum is known for some crazy ass, long ass opener, trust me people are so fast pace these days they don't want to hear u deliver a 5 min opener... Ask something more easy and nothing that could possibly come off as weird... such as "what do you think about this item (usually something I am wearing) like for instance I had a necklace from an old antique store... and I ask one HB8, excuse me what do you think about this necklace? Does it fit me? wait for reply, I actually bout it a few days ago at this AWESOME antique store... they had all kinds of amazing necklaces, and I decide on this one...

I'd have to agree with TheTruthPUA you do need to get them hooked asap though the line; "Do you like my Jewellery" is a bit weak too IMO. As you are

a)Giving her power to open yourself up to ridicule. She could easily just say "No not really it looks cheap like you, now go away"
b)Your needing her to validate your fashion sense which could be coming across as being needy and paranoid.
c)You sound like a spiv in the line for selling Jewellery!

You bring up a lot of good points, but all of those could be avoided with the right frame.

Toss in little DHVs and pre-selection triggers in those lines and you should be gold. For example, I tried to game a hired gun at a clothing store:

She approaches and asked if she could help me while I'm looking at jeans.
Me: "Hmm... I don't know if you can help me... but maybe. My girlfriend and I just broke up and I'm trying to find my style. Which of these do you think look good?"

Basically, I disqualified her, but still asked for her help. Personally, the jeans she had me try on made me look like a cowboy, which I told her after I tried them on. We had a laugh about it, but I ejected from the store. She wasn't that hot and the jeans there were atrocious.
