I made a mission this week to open a girl or guy in each of my classes. I would walk into the class, quickly scan the room for an Hb or anyone who looked decent, sit next to them, and chat. Some people say opening is the EASIEST part of PU. For me, I disagree. Some classes, the whole class is extremely quiet and others don't speak. Other classes, girls are in 2 sets, and keep to themselves. I think the best way is coming to class early. If you arrive early, you can select your target when walking in, approach and open. Other times the person you sit next either responds in a matter when they are bored with the conversation or showing IOD. To be polite, the conversation is short.

Great idea man! I love the first day of class and all that comes with it. Don’t waste a good opportunity to display higher value. Being confident enough to engage a girl, or the whole class, is a perfect way to exude natural confidence early on. This is going to be an obligatory, ongoing relationship so set the tone. Girls during the first few days of class are going to be looking to establish patterns, and thought processes about what this whole social encounter is going to be about. Questions pertaining to what the rules of this particular engagement are, and how am I supposed to act become a common concern. By projecting a positive, funny, and confident energy in the group you instantly become an approachable character and will often times have the pleasant surprise of being opened. You basically made it “okay” to be friendly while simultaneously sparking up dialogue.

I tend to strategically place myself directly across from a HB 7-8 while slightly askew to what my real target, or targets are. I talk pleasantly with the HB 7-8 and then go for an opinion opener about something we were talking about targeted at my real interest.
