| While college game is not my forte (and I want to hear other people's answer to this topic) I have some ideas.
Provided it's before or after class, opinion openers are ALWAYS good, but you can't use the same one's you'd use in the club. Remember, it's college so it's still technically a subset of day game at this point. I'm thinking you should try a personalized opinion opener (I was arguing with my friend, etc.). Another idea is to simply open with something sort of class related (without sounding nerdy). For instance, "What did you do for the ____ paper, cuz I feel like I totally screwed that up [opener]" Wait for their reply, then say something along the lines of, "Honestly, I would have done so much better if I wasn't at ____ last night." Use this last line to build social proof. Now you can go in one or two directions. Either link this to mid-game or wait for a chance to neg. It is likely that whatever you said to build social proof involved some sort of party/gathering/place where the HB8s would wanna be. Thus, they'll probably try to get you to take them there or a similar place at some point in the convo. DO NOT agree. If you do you will not only become their bitch, but you will also fall into the friend zone AND miss a chance to neg. Throw in a neg such as "Whoa, slow down. You gotta know me a bit better before I just take you to parties." You can then throw another neg and acknowledge another member of the set by saying something like "How do you even roll with this girl?"
...so what follows that neg is just a bunch of mid-game. Tips to keep in mind: it IS a three set, so make sure you engage each member. Also, play the members off of each other so that you can combo negs with engaging other members.
Hopefully this helps bro.
Also, I'd LOVE to hear other people's advice, and their critiques of my idea. After all, I still want to improve too. _________________ I don't like taking the easy way out. I'd rather be creative.
