im pretty new to this but this opener has always worked for me all you have to do is go up to a set and say me and my friends where talking about snow white and we cant name all the seven dwarfs can you help us out. hope this opner works as well for you as it does for me.

You can respond in so many ways to this. You can even DHV. "Well, you know, I have a little female cousin that is 5 years old and she is really fond of Snow White. She has puppets of Snow White and 4 of her dwarfs. So she still needs 3 in order to complete her collection. Since next week is her birthday I want to really make her happy and complete her whole collection. But I still need to know the name of the 3 dwarfs she doesn't have." Something like that.

Well guys don't usually get together and huddle around the table (like he said; him and his friends) and BS about Snow White. Even if it is regarding buying gifts for little girls. The HB is going to be thinking that C Dog 1987 one day said something like, "Hey dudes, we really need to get together and talk about little girl presents. This is gonna be fun, I'll call Jimmy!"

i see where your coming from wiv this but all i say is that we was doing a pub quiz earlyer in the night and that was one of the questions we had to leave before we got the answer and thought that you girls could help because we could only name 4. i also like to add the pen 15 trick to it if any of them name all 7 i saw style use this on youtube and it always goes down well.

Who said that guys came together to talk about a present for a little girl ? So before you go out with your friends you make a list of conversational topics that you are going to discuss with your friends and then you call them and say "Ey guys, I just had the great idea to go out and have some conversations about topic ..... and topic .... ? ". Please ... Normal people just hang out and start talking about random things. By coincidence you were thinking about your little cousin and then you were thinking about her birthday and that is how you came talking about the 7 dwarfs. What is wrong or weird about that ? The funny thing is that maybe you have ever used openers like "Who lies more ? Guys or girls ?". Did any girl tell you: "So did you come to this party to figure out whether girls lie more than men ? Are you and your friends so boring ?". A girl can always shoot down an opener. That doesn't mean there is something wrong with the opener.

First off, a girl would not respond by calling you a queer. And if she did, she'd be teasing you because she's interested in you and I would take this remark as an IOI.

IMO, the best response to her asking how the subject came up would be to make up a train of thought.
I'd say something like:
"Well, we were discussing our skiing trip last weekend and how we might go skiing in Utah next month. Utah got us talking about Mormons... Mormons got us talking about crazy religions, which brought us to Scientology. Scientology brought us to Tom Cruise, who clearly brought us to subject of dwarfs!"
A response like this would make her laugh, show that you're not afraid of her shit test, and even throw in discussion topics (I've been skiing also!!) or (Omg Scientologists ARE crazy!!!).
