I'm from Ft. Bragg, one of the largest army installations in the US. Lots of single male soldiers, and the town that Ft. Bragg is near has a good amount of women, the problem is that they (at least the ones I try to talk to) either don't date soldiers, are dating a soldier, or have major mental problems.
And they all know the score, if they are local and cute, they know that every soldier is going to play the game and try to get with them, so they seem to always be expecting it.
I am a soldier just like every one else, and I need way to distinguish myself from the crowd, since I have some very stiff competition, I'm about a 6 or 7, and there much better looking guys that these girls could get with.

So how is it diffrent from any other place?

I can write the same about any town.. Try and socialize more, keep practicing.
(I spent four years in the army, people remain people everywhere).
