We all know the prolfic opener of putting two different aftershaves on each wrist and using it as an opinion opener. Well I've used this a lot, it sometimes fails because they quickly answer and walk off. Well I've taken to putting the same aftershave on each wrist or very similar scents and opening in the same way. Because they smell the same they can't make a decision, they stop and think or smell again. A bonus for me is for them to call me out "they're the same!" Then I can have some banter, but don't back down, show your dominance by insisting they're different all in a playful way, don't linger too long, move on to some other topic now you have them where you want them.
