I opened one girl at the gym a few weeks ago. I went up to her and just said "hey, help me out here. There is a girl over on the tredmill that I have a thing for. We sort of know each other, so, if you could just do me the favor of smiling and chatting with me for a few seconds, it would help me out greatly"
The girl was more than happy to "help". She even told me to touch her arm while we were talking. We started actually chatting so it would "look natural". Next time I saw her she asked me how it worked out. Told her I had a date with the girl, but it didn't really click. We chatted a bit the next few times we saw each other and now I'm going for coffee with the girl that "helped" me out tommorow.
It worked really well.
Seems like a good one, but I'd like to add saying this in the wrong way could make you seem kind of needy.
Oh, and make sure there is a "girl" at the treadmills or wherever, because if you say that and there is nobody there you look like you are crazy or something.
Then again, if she notices just be like ohhh she left!
