I work in one of the most golden PUA spots in the entire planet I swear. I need some help opening these sets and I could get paid and laid at the same time.
I am a tall young strong clean cut athletic guy. So direct openers would be killer.
Looks like the only way you can miss at 3-4 is to not take the shot. I would go direct like you said. "Hey, I would be kicking myself all day If I didn't tell you that *insert compliment*. So who are you?" kind of deal.

She will either laughs or says something. In anycase you can go on and do your honnest compliment.
Timbridging seems so easy. Just find a nice location, less knowed to tourists and tell her about it and set up a get together to go visit it.
