at the end of class: this class is gonna be so easy/hard.. (comment on something the professor lectured on)
hallway: its so crowded in here; they keep accepting more freshman every year
either: did you drop this? (hold out pen or something similar)
classroom: how are you studying for this test? (can build this to a study date)
or, you know, talk about some crazy thing that happened on campus like a streaker, drug bust, extraordinarily huge party etc
