Hey so i went to a club tonight, and i saw this girl from across the patio outside. the next thing i knew she was right beside me and i pretended i didn't notice her. then she taps me on the shoulder and asks if i have a cigarette even though her friend beside her was smoking. anyways gave her the cigarette and that was the end of it. it's obvious i should've stepped up and done something. does anyone know what i should have done? thanks

An easy way to spark up a conversation from that is that when she asks you do an obviously teasing remark. Example:

- Sooo, do you deserve a smoke?;)

If you open her like this you have brought yourself some time, and hopefully you can start up a conversation.

This. Another great thing with smoking is that it actually works as a pretty decent opener (imo). It's really easy to strike up a conversation with a girl by just walking up and asking for a light.

okay, i see what you mean. would this work with all types of girls. she didn't seem like the b*tchy type. more of a reserved type.

Those phrases aren't magical "get any girl into bed" phrases, they're just something to fall back on when you can't think of anything to say, as opposed to giving her the smoke and letting her walk away when all she wanted you to do was talk back to her.

I use this alot in clubs...walk up to the girl, ask for a light...they will say one of 2 things normally..

1. 'sorry i dont smoke'...to which you respond...'ye dont worry neither do I, such a disgusting habit!' [smile]...turn and make as if youre leaving...this baffles them and 99% of the time they will stop you from leaving and say 'oh really, then why are you looking for a light?'...youve created curiosity now. why on earth would you ask someone for a lighter if you dont smoke. she will also try and find out if youre lying to her about not being a smoker,shes trying to catch you out. respond with, 'no really i dont smoke, i stopped smoking about 5 seconds ago, you inspired me.' [smile] ...she will laugh and from there its on...

2. 'ye sure here you go'...give you the lighter. you light your cigarette, take a biiig puff, turn your head slowly towards her looking her in the eyes calmly and smoothly and say..'you know you really shouldnt smoke, its such a disgusting habit' ...and give her lighter back. she will laugh and issue some comment back like 'then why are you smoking!!'...respond with something like...'because i want to look coool like you' (in a very cocky tone)...and from there its on..

Damn, that's good stuff - too bad I can't use it, I don't smoke I'll have to think of something else...

Here's one for if you know for a fact that the girl is hinting for you to make a move, as opposed to just trying to steal your cigarettes ...

"Hey... can I have a cigarette?"
"One condition. You have to tell me your name!"
"Okay it's ________ ...do you have a light aswell?"
"Oh (insert girls name here) now you're really trying me, if you want that too then you have to tell me a phone number too!"


This has worked in the past for me, I wish you the best of luck with it

with all due respect....you are simply trading a number for a cigarette. this demonstrates extremely LOW value as you actually had to trade something of material value to get her number...ie. without your cigarettes, you are nothing to her. she will probably wak back to her friends saying, "jeez i just had to give some guy a fake number in order to get a cigarette....ah well, it worked!"

you have not built any attraction what so ever....it would be a low quality number which would flake 9/10 times (if it was her real one). rather chat her up to the point where she WANTS to give you her number....she will then WANT you to call her and who knows maybe even WANT to see you.

this was field tested. i can tell this chick was already digging me, so i think this should only be used if you already got the vibes going.
btw. if any girl asks you for a cigarette, you should already assume the vibes.

One thing that works everytime is when you dramatise the situation worse than it is and when you interpret everything as if she is picking you up.

So lets say she asks you for a cigarette.. you say..

C`mon girl, thats a cheesy pick up line.. Ill give you a one more chance, but this time, try harder

or

I have a rule. If I give a girl a cigarette, she has to give me a blow job. And Im not sure if Im in the mood tonight..

or

That had to be hard for you.; What? ; Taking up the courage to come and talk with me.. and with the worst pick up line EVER..you give her a cigarette.. you need a light with that?; um, yes..; I think that guy over there might have one..give her a wink

The important thing to remember is, she is a guest in your reality and you are the one who is being picked up.
