I would probably tell them to show me the clothes they are like better, make some funny remarks on their clothing choices and try to start a conversation about fashion and clothing style.

A little hint to how you can do this is to point out contrasts and the matches they are giving. For example: White goes good with black.

Also, there is an unspoken dressing code which tells that guys should be wearing matching shoes and a matching belt. While girls should wear matching shoes with their purse/bag. You could perhaps ask her why this is, and it should give you some pointers for a conversation.

maybe add something like "you look like you know your fashion what do you think of this?" from whatever they answer with you could ask whether she is a model then move on from there
