I'm going to an amusement park soon, and I figure what better place to work on my openers and approach anxiety than to do it around people I'll likely never see again in my life... I'm not concerned about picking up and bringing home, I just want to work on my approach game.

So, does anybody have any great openers that could work while waiting in a queue, or just in random passing that would be excellent to use at an amusement park?

I was doing the same thing last week, practicing at the amusement park. I'm pretty new to this, but I was really successful. I ended up with two numbers, both 8 or 9s so I was pumped! I ran situational openers mainly with some luck, but opinion openers were most successful. I was with my buds and when we got in an argument over my hat for example I would just ask their opinion to seemingly support my side. Like I said, I am new to this. But it seems like the basic openers work here just as well.

So you're waiting in line and whadaya know? There just happens to be a couple of HB's in line next to you. Soooo, ya say to them that you were talking about your buddies b-day party that's coming up in a couple of weeks and, just for fun, if they could book any 3 bands for their b-day party who would they book?

When you get their answers you know what kind of music they like and you can take that conversation in a million different directions. Have you heard the latest track from (Band A)?. Just saw (Band B) in concert. That sounds like a kick ass party, when's your b-day I wanna come. Bla, Bla, Bla!
