So I like to open with opinion openers, and I always get a great response, but I always end up rolling off after about 1 or two minutes. either the girl takes control of the conversation or it just dies, i cant think of anyway to seg into a story, mostly because i dont really have any stories....
can you guys point me to any articles or advice?
Thanks!
itgiawa,
This is a pretty frequently asked question around the forum. I am sure you will able to find some awesome tips from various people if you search for "transition" or "transitioning." Here are a few quick links I found.
transition-from-a1-to-a2-vt47454.html?h ... transition
what-should-i-do-after-openning-vt46863 ... transition
My quick 2 cents about it is this. After opening you need to see if the set is hooked. Have they turned to face you with their bodies are they interested? Or are they not hooked and looking away? This establishes what we need to do next.
If not hooked then stack with another opener and try to get them involved.
If they are hooked then a good transition is always,
"How do you all know each other?" This is especially helpful if there are guys in the set to know who is the boyfriend, brother, friend, etc. Then from there you can go into stories or DHV material.
Another transition I like to use is,
"Oh that reminds me!" People have random thoughts all the time so this works really well. You can just blurt this out and then use it to transition to whatever you want. It seems like it could be weird to jump subjects but because of the random thought process people have this makes this work!
Hope it helps out,
Jon
