| While this is not covered in any of the instructional books, I do believe this was one of my most perfect "routines" and situations that had the lovely ladies chasing ME... all the way home.
I was in college, but was four years older than the other kids (did a 4 year stint in the Army). I met and dated, then be-friended a very lovely lady, who had similar features to me (tall, then, brown, brown, similar nose). I was an only child and had always wanted a little sister. So, she began calling me her brother, which took off and soon most everyone knew us as brother and sister. We BOTH loved to dance and I had done some moon-lighting as an Arthur Murray School of Dance instructor, though most of my moves were just good rhythm and creativity.
My "Sis" and I always loved being the first ones out on the dance floor, since it gave us the whole floor to break it down, swing it around, and even give it a few Latin hip moving flares.
It never failed that as we left the dance floor, my "Sis" would either go to the bar or bathroom or to talk to a friend. It also never failed that as I walked back to my seat, there would be some VERY lovely lady who woulld say to me, "You and your girlfriend dance VERY good." I would thaank her and then say, "Oh, she's not my girl friend, she's my sister." Not wanting to linger and be TOO obvious... I would usually leave them open-mouthed and at a loss for words, as I found my seat.
Of course they were already interested and now that my "availability" AND my "AHHH" factor (dancing with my sister) was well established, welll... let's just say that my collegte years I majored in....the social and psychological practices and mores of the human female.
Actually I took a year of Calculus and somehow managed to pass, even though I never ever opened my book. My major changed from Computer Engineering to Psychology.
FEMALE FRIENDS CAN BE THE BEST! My "Sis" turned me on to more.... "lovely ladies" than I can remember.' She'd bring a friend along and introduce me as "her brother," which instantly made me "okay." They're great for getting out on the dance floor with you, witout having to go through the hassle of finding the right one to ask, then wondering if she'lll even be able to dance.
My fave song to dance to (it was the 80's) INXS "I Need You Tonight." _________________ Trying to learn just a little bit more each day,
