Hey guys,

I was listening to something by Brad P. and by Sinn on openers and I thought I would try it out.

It's called the horse girl opener... usually its meant for night game but I thought I would try it out in day game.

In case your unfamiliar with this opener.

It's basically,

You:"Hey do you like horses?"

Her: "yes, no, maybe....why?"

You: "Check it out, when I was in 6th grade, [or if your British year 6] there was this one girl who absolutely loved horses, I mean she used to give the younger kids piggy backs, she used to gallop around the school during lunch and even make horse noises in class. And you look just like her."

Always make it playful because you want a fun response,

Her: "No I'm not the weird horse girl"

You: "Check it out, when I was a kid I was the cool kid and she was the dork and I used to pick on her. and now im a lil more older and a bit more mature, I feel bad, plus my psychiatrist told me if I don't find horse girl and apologize I will feel bad all the time. So I know its embarrassing to admit it, but just in case you are horse girl. I wanna say I'm sorry"

Her: "Sorry for what?"

You: "For calling you names, and making fun of you and for.... putting hay in your locker. Am I forgiven" Open arms out for a hug.

Anyway I went to the mall and I thought to try it out.

First time I approached a girl I hadn't used a pre-opener which Sinn recommends you use.

I got shot down instantly she just walked away.

So the next set I saw was a 2 set, 2 Blondes, I approached with a pre-opener,

"Hey do you guys know where I can get a decent coffee?"

They replied: "Costa Coffee is pretty cool."

I stood there thinking to try something out, so I said Thanks really slowly, tilted my head slightly, and put on this cheesy grin. I just came out with,

"Do you like horses?"

I went in to the opener with the taller blonde. She gave good responses and I got her friend involved by teasing her for being quiet.

I transitioned off into something about how they looked,

"You look like your art students, etc"

Got into a conversation. and got a #Close.

So far this opener has worked. I approached 20 girls on Saturday (16th May 2009) with this opener and I got 18#Closes out of it.

It's a very random opener but one that seems to work probably because it's different and you can go anywhere you want with it.

I would never open a girl with a story that had me seeing a psychiatrist.

All these gambits are supposed to DHV, and that definitely doesn't.

Instead, I was reading a book on psychology (a personal hobby of mine you can add)...blah blah blah
