Hey, guys. I was wondering if I could get some ideas for openers. I tend toward the philosophical and the spiritual side of life and I was wondering if anybody has any ideas for openers that can help generate a deeper discussion than the usual openers. How can I open a group with something about ethics or values or how we know what we know. How can I elicit the principles people live by and why with an opener? I know you don't wanna go too deep with a total stranger, but there's gotta be a way to generate a conversation of more substance than talking about cars or music. Any ideas?

I actually have one for you. I went up to a girl at campus and said, "Excuse me, have you read Angels and Demons? I'm thinking about picking it up before I see the movie." Her eyes got wide and she smiled and we spent a good 45 mins talking about ethics and vaules over lunch. We're going to go see the move together this weekend.

It's a hit or miss one, because some girls just don't care about the book I'm sure. However, the hit is deff worth the time and effort.

its very rare that girls that are found at a bar or club will engage into a spiritual/logical/ related conversation. rare but not impossible.

There are openers that can help you, but youd have more chances of success if youd go with the usual stuff.. or at least something that girls can connect more with, and then if you have your target, build rapport and then let it all out, about the spiritual or deep subjects. as a way to build rapport it is ok to talk about deeper subjects, but as an opener.. well.. it can be kinda difficult..

but you sould try making one up and using it, its actually quite interesting using openers on subjets that are not that superficial, such as relationships, sex, music, cars, etc etc..

Everything can be done, just a matter to experiment and try those ideas out.... IM up for it too =) man, so let us know how it goes !!...

Seriously, I have no idea what your goals are but a deep hour long conversation about spirituality won't do anything to get you laid . . . or to get you a date for that matter.

First, I think you need to re-think your PRIMARY goal. If you think about this carefully and you STILL think you want to find women to chat away about socialism while you suffer blue balls for ever, then go ahead. Open with,

"Hey, why do you think Buddha came to China?" . . ."How did Christianity become the most popular religion in Korea?" ... Have yourself a ball.

Otherwise, don't even talk about cars and music and instead talk about HER, YOU, and SEX. . . and get your pi pi wet first. After, you give her an orgasm, you can still chat about religion and cultural realities all you want. The only difference now is that you'll be able to engage her in an intense conversation while she's taking breathers from sucking on your cock.

I was thinking that a good opener can show some depth and that some women are attracted to that. I see it as a way of demonstrating value. I think some women would find it refreshing to be asked a question that really gets them thinking.
