I was standing in line at a Barn and Nobles coffee shop at around 3:30 pm today. There was this cute cashier so i stood in line with only one person ahead of me in line. She rang me up for some lemon aid and then i opened. The convo went like this word for word.

Me- Hey let me ask you a quick question. Me and my friends were just having a debate and i feel i really got to get a woman's opinion on this.
Hb- Ok
Me- Do you feel guys that do Muay Thai are sexier then guys that don't?
HB- Wait whats Muay Thai?
Me- The "art of 8 limbs". its Thai boxing.
Hb- Yeah defiantly.
Me- Oh alright. *pause* Listen im a white belt Muai Thai fighter and i was just wondering if you wanted to got play some billiards with me after you get out of work?
Hb-i have a boyfriend
me- oh thats fine i wasnt asking your boyfriend out i was asking you out.
Hb- but wouldnt that be wrong?
me- i dont know i dont have a boyfriend
Hb- *speachless*
Me- *froze up* never mind. *walked away*

Now here's were i think i messed up: instead of walking away i should have negged her and then i should of asked her out again. I felt i was being persistent but not persistent enough... but i could be wrong.

Any help on this manner would be greatly appreciated.

Just to clear on something I just working on getting rid of approach anxiety. I wasnt to serous about this pick up but just had a feeling there was something i could do using the method i used.
