I sort of inadvertantly came to discover this, actually.

Was in a crowded bar night before last, and my wing and I opened a girl and her friend. All around there were people, so I didn't really pay much attention. I find out that they want to go to another bar... Damn, that was easy.

We four get outside, and they stop in the street. "What are you guys waiting for?" I asked.

"The rest of our friends," she replied.

Out they came... 5, 6, 7, 8. I recognized them all from standing near us when we first opened the set.

My wing and I had just successfully opened an 8-set, and we were bouncing to another location.



I got to thinking about this... You don't have to entertain the entire set, or even attempt to talk to anyone else except for who is apparently important to your target.

I no longer feel like I should be learning magic tricks or some shit to entertain entire sets!

That's a fun "ah ha" moment.

Actually, large sets are that way. The bigger they get the more they break apart into smaller 2 and 3 sets. Just work that set and get introduced later and you are in.

I like taking groups like that merging a few more and seeing how big I can make it. Sometimes in my mind I'm chanting "Jinga Jinga Jinga" as I do it. Like stacking the tower to see how big I make it before it collapses. I'll be okay, seriously.

For some reason I prefer to approach large sets

I hear ya. I had one time opened what I thought was a two set and soon had myself surrounded by 7 women. I couldn't find my wing at that point and started paying attention to two of them at a time with one thread and then other two with another thread. Had multiple threads running. Walked out w/ 2 numbers from the same set and guess what the social proof got me another 3 numbers at the same bar after I ejected from the 7 set.

The point I'm making is you don't have to entertain them as a group-Thats what I learned
