So I figured this one out on accident. I was running late to work for a client, I don't have a cell phone (yeah I'm super cheap), and I really needed to call this client soooooo....

Here it goes. You appear like you're in a hurry (cause I was), and you walk past a girl, then look back.

me: Hey, this is going to sound like a strange request (say it playfully).... can I borrow your cell phone a min to call a client, left mine at home (in my case I don't have cell!)
her: (she'll respond in some way, doesn't matter what, just get on the phone)

Talk on phone for NO MORE than 30 secs.

Thank her then hand the phone back.

me: Thanks so much
her: no problem

Before she even walks away say:

me: Hey, well thanks for the call, I know I certainly used up all your precious anytime minutes (again playful). Let me make it up to you, how bout coffee, whenever we're both free. (lean back, remember you have to go right?)
her: you don't have to its ok!
me: don't worry about it, it's on me (smile)

NUMBER CLOSE BAM~

yeah, it sounds pretty natural to me. It's not really an opener to dazzle a girl, just a way to meet someone. I think she really needs to think you're cute or somethin to N-close, because I don't think she'll go and have a cup of coffee with a guy that she doesn't feel good about, just because he used her phone.

What i'm suggesting is to use it as an unassuming opener, so that they don't feel like they're being hit on, then use it as a springboard to move into your midgame material and elevate Kino.
