I guess if you go into one of those with the mindset that it will help you out, you will more then likely take something away from it...granted this depends on whether or not the people running the show will actually know whats going on, but thats probably a non-issue. They probably do have some cred if they are willing to talk to a group of people about it and charge for it.
Now...to find one in Michigan that's decently close by.
If thats not really an option for somebody, the best advice I can give is to just read up on technique, and then just go out and practice it. That's what I'm gonna do anyway. Just from reading this stuff and getting in tune with whats being said, I can already see/feel my self confidence and game gaining momentum.
Best of luck to you if you do decide to go to one though.

Really . . . I've been pm'd by some folks and met several people who've taken seminars/bootcamps . . . etc . . .
I have AFC friends who function better in bars/clubs than most people I've met who take these courses. . . I think it has more to do with where they were before the seminars with and their absolute desperation in this topic matter . . . but . . .
If you know this game cerebrally . . . meaning you know why certain openers work. You know why certain routines get women going, laughing, and digging you. . . . and if you know a few closes, YOU CAN have success . . . lots of it on your own because the rest is just BALLS and REPETITION.
I know lots of the guys who make a living off of these camps hang out here and I'm sure they'll offer their marketing hooks but my God, all you need is a pair of balls and a few cans to go out and hitting them hard.
What type of "secret" knowledge do you think a seminar can offer you other than what is discussed on these forums over, over, and over again?

It helps break you out of bad habits and shows you more possibilities. You should check the guys out they are a cheaper option but probably just as good.

To be honest, depending on who teaches it you should get a large increase in skill. The only thing is a bootcamp is worthless unless your going to do the 1000s of sets needed to get good after the program.
How do I know? I took a mystery method bootcamp a long time ago with Sinn and Future. I learned a ton of stuff, but what I really learned was only expanded once I was out in field doing all those sets.
Thats my 2 cents.

I know the only true waqy to get better is by going out and practicing, but I need a stronger base than what I have at the moment. I dont really lack confidence, it keeps a conversation going/interesting that I want to learn.
What is this sarge school that was metioned I had a quick search but couldnt find anything.
I will do what's necessary to get good at this "game" _________________ Learn the principle, abide by the principle, and dissolve the principle. In short, enter a mold without being caged in it. Obey the principle without being bound by it. LEARN, MASTER AND ACHIEVE!!!

A key thing is to push yourself and not rely on the instructors to push you, cause once you are back home, there will be noone to push you and you will go back to your old ways. _________________ - - -
