I met up with a fellow trainee PUA once and we decided to each open a set. When it was his turn, he had to open a 5 set all sat down. He opened by asing them if he looked better with or without his beanie hat which he wears a lot. I think he did ok.

Are openers like these generally ok? I think they're good if you generally struggle for ideas, but on the downside it's a bit egocentric and possibly DLV if you seem to be looking for an opinion on how you look. I guess you could always go the comic route eg "does my arse look big in these jeans?"
I've got a pair of green jeans and was thinking of using them in an opener.

Id make it neutral... that way your not really asking about how you look...

About this time id be lockin or doing something crazy(if I had white shoes on id probably pull one off and readjust it just to feed the action) then follow up saying why does a $10 shoe attract your attention so much? After that see which girl starts pullin off her shoes or showing you hers(there's your target)
