I've just field tested this opener. It was a complete success. Everyone is welcome to put it to the test too, provide feedback.

Approach: Hey, (quick compliment on her hair like cool hair colour, where did you get it done?) wait for response.

I know someone who's a hairdresser and they're looking for a hair model as they've got an upcoming hair show. You look like the sort of hair model they're looking for. Give me your number if you're interested.

That's it. I number closed just doing that today. I guess you'll be thinking that it's lying. But isn't lying just flirting anyhow?

As for what do after this, I've already thought ahead. I have a few options. I can call her up, arrange a meeting between myself, her and my imaginary hairdresser friend who myseteriously won't turn up to it.

I can call her up, and say that in actual fact the hairdesser is my sister who lives far away and actualyl is one, I'll have to go C&F with that, make sure I build a bit of rapport first before letting the cat out the bag so to speak.

Or I could befriend a hairdresser in the city and take her along for the free trim, another friend suggested this wasn't the best choice to do since they may feel uncomfortable having their hair done in front of me. So, I'm going with one of the first two options.

I'll be field testing it some more, I appreciate any feedback to tighten the strings and improve it moreover. I also find it's a good icebreaker and I can continue the conversation straight after getting the number, but today I just exited the interaction after getting the number.

Sorry buddy but I can't see this going anywhere, she gave you her number because she was interested in becoming a hair model, not because she was interested in you. If you had carried on the conversation a little longer after getting the number then maybe but seeing as how you say you left straight away I don't see a happy ending unless you have some mad text/phone game.

Hey Musterion,

I was thinking exactly the same later that night after posting. I thought to myself that the HB wasn't interested in me, she was into getting a haircut for free, lol.

Well, the idea for the opening came from an unlikely source, an HB, she said that's what would work on her on the subway or in the street.
Furthermore, in Hong Kong, most girls wouldn't dare talk to a stranger on the street, it's just not the done thing, they always think you're selling something and quickly walk away. I still have to get over my AA and get my inner game right first. I know it's possible, although it's not always going to work, that's why I was quite chuffed when I pulled this off and had a number in a matter of seconds, although I hadn't got it for the right reasons.

I may have some crazy text and call game, but I still think I wouldn't be doing the right thing, so I might put this opener to rest, now if only I'd learnt from my sister I could have actually been the hairdresser, great DHV right there off the bat. Darn it.

This is a great way to get rid of AA, but thats about it, as mentioned above, this girl would only be disappointed if she got a call from you saying there was no haircut, this would instantly make her associate you with lies or empty promises.
