How do you approach on the dance floor? (college parties)

How would you approach a woman on the dance floor? I go to college and every party has a dance floor. How would I approach them? I've come up from behind and just started dancing before but that feels awkward and creeper like. From the front I get nervous and don't know how to continue. Should you say anything at all when approaching? What do you do to start talking to her? Ask her if she wants to go outside, get a drink etc?

i have the exact problems as you in clubs.. Ive read before that you should not approach at a dance floor since no one goes to the dance floor to talk, its for dancing.. as for dancing, you have to dance like you're having the most fun in the whole room.. like if there is a group of girls dancing just get in the middle and start dancing with all of them..

this is a good technique (proven) because it show the girls that you're just there to have fun and not to rub up on 1 chick from behind

I agree with airwave2oo8, the dancefloor is not an ideal approach-area. You don't have to be deep in the game with her to start dancing. It's sufficient to just say "hi, having fun? good!" the first time you see her and then just walk up to her at the dance floor later on. I've tried this before and it's lead to KC like 75% of the time. But I might just have been lucky, worth trying though?
