All of these openers i hear don't seem natural. Everything comes off too polite, i usually dont use routine for opening game. I usually pick something out that the girl is wearing thats wierd or normal.

Me- hey lady, where did you get those cheetah pants?
Lady, I got them at hot topic
Me- really, i was looking for a pair to get for my ex-girlfriend she loves that
Lady- oh really blah blah blah

from there depending on the feel, i go with it, like

Me- oh do you have some time to help me shop, my (Sister or ex-girlfriend you can basically use any girl) is about your size and idk know what size to get.

I winging it is pretty good but you do need some openers just in case
