hey guys, not too new to the board although i dont post often. i wanna start a thread of fundamentals. building blocks to use when starting out. things that are second nature to the pua but that an afc might have trouble with at first.

my contribution:
1. being relaxed. this all starts with breathing. i recommend breathing only through your nose and taking 5 seconds inhale and 5 seconds exhale. i tended to get anxious starting out and this is something that helps me when im nervous, plus you can practice it on downtime so it becomes second nature.
2. looking people in the eyes. try going 10 minutes to start and just look everyone you see in the eyes. like breathing, this is something that will help you that you can practice anytime. i recommend trying this out for yourself so you feel comfortable with it before youre in a large social setting. eye contact is very powerful.
3. always be having fun. even if youre nervous, by controlling your breathing and looking people in the eyes, you can fake it. if youre genuinely not having a good time, you need to be somewhere else. nervousness is something that should be controlled/contained. boredom, whatever the cause, destroys value. why would any girl be attracted to a guy who is not only bored, but has such little else to do that he CHOOSES to stay bored. get out now

i am the type of person that can get extreme anxiety. here's a trick i used to change my perspective. i got this from the movie Wanted with angelina jolie. the main character is told at one point that his anxiety is caused by adrenaline. i started actually believing this. adrenaline is a natural response that is healthy for our survival. concentrated, it can be very powerful. always try to control your focus. breathing helps with this. i cant stress breathing enough, it is one thing that all the naturals use. calm natural breathing shows you are comfortable in your skin and is self-fulfilling. if you control breathing you will feel more comfortable.

this advice should help no matter what pua youre learning from or what your own personal beliefs about pickup are. would like to see some more contributions guys

I find, that if i'm not really feeling it, I just smile to myself, or even grin, it triggers the laughing/happy hormone somehow and I start to inject energy into everyone else too. If you are with an ARMY of boring bastards however, its very tough... (if you have too much energy compared to them, you break too far away from the localised average, and just look wierd. Find the balance)

why not try a beathing pattern that consists of. 1 count breathing in your nose, 4 counts holding. and 2 counts breathing out your mouth.

this might work better
