Ideal if target brushes past you on the dancefloor or even just eyes you up.

PUA: "i couldn't help but notice when you walked past me before you grabbed my ass."
TARGET: "OMG i so didn't etc"
PUA: You should have just come up and said my name is (pause holding out hand waiting for her name), i came out tonight with (pause waiting for her response.. which will be "friends") and I noticed you are (her response hopefully is hot/look nice etc)

You first part reminds me of an open my wing did while waiting at the bar, it was pretty packed and there was a girl next to him, some guy grabbed his arse and it lead him to make what I thought was a good opener "Did you just grab my arse? Because if you didn't then that guy did and I don't swing that way" something along those lines anyway, opened really well for him.
A bit different from the fill in the gaps thing you're talking about but it reminded me so I had to post it.

As for your opener I think the idea, only thing I'd do different is instead of giving her the chance to neg you at the end, just fill that bit in yourself "I noticed you were hot" etc. Just spit-balling here but you could even add after "To which I would respond with blah blah blah I'm sorry but your shoes throw me off" cocky funny, neg the target, whatever you know.
