As PU is growing and evolving, grls as well as guys are becoming more aware of the community and becomig exposed to much of the method as well as specific openers, canned material, mostly due to the popular VH1 show.

Did anyone notice this shit In one of the early episodes of this season?
When that brown haired guy with the pink scarf gets blown out by a 2 set, and mystery is in the van pointing out how the set is girl-coding each other. He doesnt even notice OR he doesnt want to admit that they are girl coding that he is someone trying to use the mystery method of pu by mimicing the fingers/spells routine they saw on VH1. they just continue laughing as he regurgitates some corny negs about sex in the city.

I dont even try opening girls with opinion openers now bc of that show making them pua dead giveaways. This whole thing started out as being effective bc it was a new different way of approaching women, but now a lot of material is becoming the cliche. The last couple times i asked if i could get a sets opinion on something, I was immediately grilled about the show, laughed at, girl coded- the whole 9. I Cant be alone on this. And whether we want to admit it or not this is instant DLV to them and difficult to recover fm. Dont get me wrong, im still a firm believer in most the methods in attaction and seduction but i just believe some things (that used to be golden) should now be black listed or at least heavily avoided in the field.


PUA Black List:

1) Spin move
1) Dual hand out Compliance test
2) almost All Opinion openers-(get blown out just by saying "hey guys can i ask your opinion on something?" Just find another way to open)
3) inappropriate DHV stories about stripper ex-girlfriends, limos, money, etc.
4) "You know your nose wiggles when you laugh"
5) "You two make the same facial expressions"
6) "So youre the bad one and youre the good one"
7) "You have to buy me a drink"
Mystery spells gambit
9) Arm in arm bounce move
10) "Evrytime you touch me, it will cost you 5 dollars"

Maybe im wrong, im sure some ppl disagree with this, but all im saying is, Im Never using Any of this shit again, unless the girl has been living on the moon for the last 2 years.

First of all.

Being a PUA has nothing to do with what kind of lines you have.
Being a PUA has nothing to do with "Oh I have a cool new opener I want to try."
A PUA could open up saying whatever the hell he wants.

1st of all, you probably use and depend on all of these since you got so defensive about it
2nd- by your logic, everyone learning about pickup should just not learn anything and just say whatever, which is exactly how many people end up here to begin with. If only we could All be as alpha as this guy so we dont have to accept reality that girls watch TV and now many know all of these routines and we possibly have to learn new material.

As much as you're right, Suave. He does have a point... while most people deny using canned material or say that they're naturals now, everyone uses routines every now and then. While those lines will not be recognized by most people, I would shy away from them. Not so much the dual hand compliance test, no girl will be like " oh this is from that tv show" and call you out on it. I would also add something else to the list... " Where is this line from, 'Nobody puts baby in a corner'?? "

Dude, there is no need for this type of bickering and sarcasm on the forum. You both have some completely valid points. I agree that the material on the show is burned out. I have used a few canned lines here and there and been called out on like the cube. These things happen. I think we all know how to handle ourselves out there.

I wish people would stop over using them, but it's to be expected with the popularity of the show and the books.

5uave like you I am a dating coach in my city. I agree with you that it is the "Way" you say it just as C-King Guidance does. That is a great a valid point, some people can't hear that enough. I also get tired of people complianing about routines being worn out. I think all of us on this thread so far are beyond that too.

Like Ezo said if you use the material you created for yourself you are golden and don't have to worry about it.

First of all, we all know obviously that the world is constantly changing. we as PUA should know by now how to adapt to change. A girl gives you a shit test, you dont say "yea ur right", (or something gay along those lines lol) When you get a shit test you use it to your advantage! The world changes use it as an advantage!

If we all still use canned material what does that say, we require certain phrases or moves to get a girl to bow to ya!

Guys it can be our turn to start creating material that noobs will use and worship.

I completely agree with you... I personally have never seen it and would never recreate a scene as an opener. The reason I mentioned it was because it has been displayed on the show several times and I think MM uses it as an example.

Hmm, I live in AUS and never knew about this "Pickup Artist" show that Mystery does.

Besides that, we don't get VH1 here. So am I safe?

I used "Hey, did you girls see the fight going on outside?" opener a couple of weeks ago. Worked a charm.

I plan on using a few other opinion openers soon too. I don't think aussie women will call me out on any of this? Am i wrong?

We're always thinking about pickup here. That's what we do. So we see it everywhere. But to those girls... it's just a friggin' TV show. That's it. I highly doubt some show on VH1 will have a serious impact on game. Do any of you still remember the first season of Prison Break? I sure as hell don't, and I re-watched it this summer

Let's say you get called out 2 out of 100 sets. That's 30 sets out of, hmm, a year's work? Seriously, it's negligible.

Also, girls who watch VH1 are not at the top of my hit-list, so even if I do get called out (and, in all honesty, hasn't happened in London yet), I don't fell like I'm at a loss.

So have fun with pickup. Experiment. Use those old stale lines if you feel like it. So she watches the pickup artist... cool. Maybe if you become friends (yeah, I don't fuck every hot girl I meet, some are just friends) you'll have a fun conversation about it together.
