i was at a skating rink with my female best friend and there was a 2 set HB8's checking me out the whole night (i do have some nice rollerskating skills and good looks lol)
anyway,just as i was leaving, i went up to them after my friend talked some courage into me, and opened with
what's up guys, i came over here cause i wanted to meet you before i left
hb's: (huge smiles on face) hey
me: alright have a good evening


i had major AA so i froze but just give me some helpful tips for next time

i think thats a pretty good direct opener since you saw them checking you out if gives you the green light. make sure you hold eye contact with them to show you are alpha.

after you open, its usually a pretty easy transition to get into how do you guys know each other. if they say they are best friends you can use the (somewhat played out), "i totally knew you guys were best friends bc you have the same facial expressions". usually you have some stuff to talk about once you find out how they know each other. be confident, have fun, make fun of them a bit, give a false time constraint, get the # say you are doing X this wknd and they should come. then leave. follow up 1-2 days later.

1) They were watching you so they were obviously interested so it was wrong that you telegraphed your interest towards them
2) Better aproach would be, for example: "Ok girls, I`v been entertaining you for the last xx minutes but it ain`t free, now it`s your turn to buy me a coffe"
3) When they replyed you went away without anything, no number, no date, no nothing. Next time, follow up your opener with other stuff in order to get at least a number
4) MOST IMPORTANT - well done, inspite of as you say, major AA you did not miss a chance to at least open them and that is great. The best way to beat AA is to constantly open sets so I congratulate you and just keep it up!
