yea we go to college together. she is in one of my lecture classes, but she sits really far away and due to the mass of people i have never been able to talk to her in person. so i dont know her at all.

she added me on facebook.... and i asked her a question about a test once. thats it.


i really dont know if approaching her as if i know her is the best idea..

Haha, someone has a case of AA. Dude, her adding you on facebook without you even knowing each other is a major IOI. You should have approached her ages ago. Just go in with an opener and a few canned conversation threads.
