Wing 1. He will be a good wing for you to learn from and he will be able to hold his own well. However, you may have some difficulties with him taking your target, stealing your thunder in set, etc. Guys who are naturals just do what they do, and don't realize he's hurting your game by doing it. I've had this happen to me a few times. If you two can work that out ahead of time then great!
Wing 2. It's great to help people and I'm sure he'd make a good wing. The biggest hurdle we have here is that he doesn't already know the game, and may not want the change. You have to really want this stuff for yourself to see improvements. If he doesn't want it he'll start flaking on you after a while because you're going to pushing him out of his comfort zone a lot.
For the present time I'd choose Wing 1.
